Frequently Asked Questions
Is the ParcelsSafe Door easy to install?
The ParcelsSafe Door is very easy to install. Included is a template. Make sure it is level and cut the door with an oscillating saw, reciprocating saw or hand saw. There is a one inch frame around the door. You have eight screws to hold the door frame in place. It takes about 30 minutes to install and it can be installed anywhere on your garage door. ParcelsSafe is designed to fit most garage doors, and is designed to fit both insulated and non-insulated garages. Installation instructions are included and there is a video available on YouTube. If you are not handy you can hire a handyman to install the door in no time.
What if I can’t install the ParcelsSafe door myself?

I don’t want to cut a hole in my garage door.
When the ParcelsSafe door is installed it looks like its part of your garage door. Most garage doors have windows in them. This is the same. When the ParcelsSafe door is installed and painted to match your garage door, it appears to be factory installed.
You take the piece you cut out to any paint store and they will colour match it for you and you will not be able to tell the difference. The ParcelsSafe door is primed and ready to be painted.
The door comes with an easy to use leaver on the inside. The owner of the home can choose to put the leaver in a locked position anytime they want.
What if the delivery person does not close the door?
The door stays open slightly. Does not affect the operation of your garage door as it closes as the door lifts and reopens slightly when it is closed again.
It’s too large, people could climb through it.
It is large enough to accommodate most parcels, but would be very difficult to climb through.
